ZON sells the growers’ products. Of course it is they who gain when the very best quality ultimately reaches the consumer. To guarantee this ZON employs logistical resources so that we can support the growers optimally: service provision with added value, in which the two distribution centres in Venlo (Limburg) and Wieringermeer (North Holland) play a key role. Both centres are equipped with various warehousing and dock facilities and the various products can be cooled and shipped in separate cooling cells.

Having two logistics centres, distributed over the country, offers growers in the whole country the opportunity to sell and ship their products fresh via ZON. It means that these products find their way to the end consumers quickly, reliably and under the growers’ own control.

In addition to basic logistics ZON also carries out activities in the area of added-value logistics. The sorting or packaging of products are activities that ZON can carry out to bring the products of the growers to market even more efficiently.
